Tom and Lynnette Bichsel – Tom and Lynnette started JASA in 1998 and have grown the organization to an average of 350 players per season.
Tom does field maintenance, manages gravel acquisition for the drive and parking, coaches the coed 8th grade team in the fall and referees where needed. As a member organization in the MSSA league for our 6th-8th grade players, Tom attends member organization meetings for the league and is JASA’s representative to the MSSA League. Tom can be seen at the fields throughout the week during the spring and fall seasons. As an educator by profession, he also spends many of his summer days working at the fields, reseeding, fertilizing, installing drain tile, mowing, painting goals, and whatever else he can find to do to enhance the player and JASA family experience.
Lynnette performs the role of Treasurer, Concession Stand Director, Player Registration Coordinator, Team and Coach organizer, uniform coordinator, and whatever else she can find to do. She can be found at the fields throughout the week during the spring and fall seasons usually in the concession stand. Lynnette spends a lot of her time at home managing the Administration for the JASA organization.
Teri Hamlin - Teri’s daughter grew up playing in the JASA organization and is now on the Alder girls soccer team. Teri , is a former JASA coach and provides assistance with the administration of the organization.
Andy and Heidi Kellett – Andy and Heidi have four sons that played in the JASA organization. Their youngest will be graduating from Jonathan Alder this spring.
Heidi, a former coach JASA coach provides assistance with the administration of the organization.
Andy, also a former JASA and Jonathan Alder High School boys coach helps to provide feedback and direction for the organization. He also assists in running player skills assessments for the older 6th – 8th grade players to help organize the
teams. Andy can be seen throughout the spring and fall seasons as a referee for the 6th – 8th grade level games.
Jim McLain – Jim has four children that all grew up playing in the JASA organization. Two are currently playing for the high school teams and the youngest is in the JASA organization.
As a coach, Jim holds a NSCAA Level 4 certification and OSYSA E License. Jim is also a certified grade 8 soccer referee.
Currently Jim coaches the combined 6th/7th grade JASA boys team and one of the spring high school teams. He runs indoor footskills sessions on Saturdays in January and February for 2nd – 8th grade players and organizes referee certification classes..
Chris Moore – Chris has two sons that played in the JASA organization. One is playing for the high school team and the youngest is still in the JASA organization.
As a coach, Chris holds the OSYSA E License. Chris is also a certified High School Soccer Referee.
Chris coaches currently with the 4th/5th grade juniors players. Chris, with Jim, runs the indoor footskills sessions on Saturdays in January and February for 2nd – 8th grade players.
Sean Magginis – Sean is the newest member of the JASA Board. Sean has three daughters who play in the JASA organization and Sean coaches all three. Sean has been lending his expertise and assistance with field upkeep and we welcome him to the board
